Stjórn BÍS hefur skipað Berglindi Lilju Björnsdóttur sem alþjóðafulltrúa fyrir WOSM. Berglind verður tengiliður BÍS við heimssamtök skáta og á norrænum samstarfsvettvangi skáta ásamt því mun hún vinna náið með alþjóðaráði. Stjórn BÍS óskar Berglindi hjartanlega til hamingju með stöðuna og hlakkar til að vinna með henni í nýju hlutverki. Um leið vill stjórn BÍS færa fráfarandi alþjóðafulltrú, Þóreyju Lovísu þakkir fyrir vel unnin störf, Þórey mun leiða Berglindi fyrstu skrefin og koma henni inn í hlutverkið.

The board of Bandalag Íslenskra Skáta has appointed Berglind Lilja Björnsdóttir as the new International Commissioner for WOSM. Berglind will represent BÍS within the World Organization of the Scout Movement abroad and within the Nordisk Speiderkomité she will also work with BÍS’s council on international scouting. The board of BÍS would like to congratulate Berglind on her new position and looks forward to working with her. At the same time, the board of BÍS would like to thank Þórey Lovísa, the outgoing International Commissioner, for a job well done. Þórey will guide Berglind during her first steps and bring her into the role.
